Virginia High School Basketball - Jefferson Christian Academy nudges Virginia Episcopal School

November 16, 2024: Ripplemead, VA 24150

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Jefferson Christian Academy Cardinals (Ripplemead, VA) and the visiting Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA), observed Jefferson Christian Academy's basketball team edge Virginia Episcopal School by a score of 65-62.

The Cardinals (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Carlisle (Axton, VA). The Chiefs come into the VISAA Blue Ridge challenge with a 2-1 record.

In their next game, the Bishops encounter the Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy Ospreys (Moneta, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 19. Virginia Episcopal School will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Ospreys come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 48-9 non-league win over Chatham Hall (Chatham, VA).
