Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Alcoa Tornadoes (Alcoa, TN) and the visiting Cocke County Fighting Cocks (Newport, TN), saw Alcoa's basketball squad overcome Cocke County by a tally of 70-60.

With the victory, Alcoa improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Tornadoes travel to South-Doyle (Knoxville, TN) to confront the Cherokees in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 21. The Cherokees come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.
