Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Strom Thurmond Rebels (Johnston, SC) and the host Josey Eagles (Augusta, GA), saw Strom Thurmond's basketball squad knock off Josey by a count of 64-46.
With the victory, Strom Thurmond upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Rebels host Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC) to play the Copperheads in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 21. The Copperheads come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
