In Thursday's non-league outing, the Winston County Yellowjackets (Double Springs, AL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Lawrence County Red Devils (Moulton, AL), by a margin of 60-37.

The Yellowjackets (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Haleyville (Haleyville, AL). The Lions go into the non-league outing with a 0-0 record.

The Red Devils now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Decatur for a non-league outing on Friday, November 18. Lawrence County will clash with a Red Raiders squad coming off a 63-56 non-league loss to Columbia (Huntsville, AL). The Red Raiders record now stands at 0-1.
