Decatur Lutheran Lions (Decatur, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Argenta-Oreana Bombers (Argenta, IL), 39-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Decatur Lutheran upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Calvary Christian Academy (Normal, IL) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 22. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Calvary Christian Academy won 36-21 in their recent non-league bout against Blue Ridge (Farmer City, IL)

Next up, the Bombers play the Central A & M Raiders (Moweaqua, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 22. Argenta-Oreana will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
