The Calvary Christian Academy Lions basketball team scored 38 points and restricted the host Leesburg Yellow Jackets to 25 in the Lions non-league victory on Thursday.
The Lions now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Merritt Island for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 19. Calvary Christian Academy will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 53-20 non-league loss to Seminole (Sanford, FL). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-2.
The Yellow Jackets (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against North Marion (Citra, FL). The Colts come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, North Marion prevailed over Williston (Williston, FL), 56-38, in a non-league contest.
