West Vigo Vikings (West Terre Haute, IN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Clay City Eels (Clay City, IN), 50-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, West Vigo upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to South Vermillion (Clinton, IN) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 0-5. South Vermillion lost 50-24 in their recent league bout against Attica (Attica, IN)

Next up, the Eels play the White River Valley Wolverines (Switz City, IN) in a Southwestern Indiana bout, on Monday, November 28. Clay City will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
