The Fairview Panthers basketball team scored 80 points and held the host Lafayette Christian Academy Knights to 79 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Welsh for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 19. Fairview will meet a Greyhounds team coming off a 59-35 non-league loss to Iowa (Iowa, LA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 0-1.
The Knights (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Carencro (Lafayette, LA). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Carencro was nudged by Hathaway (Jennings, LA), 64-26, in a non-league contest.
