Legacy Prep Christian Academy Lions (Magnolia, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Kinkaid Falcons (Houston, TX), 53-48 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Legacy Prep Christian Academy upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Calvary Baptist (Conroe, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 18. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 3-3. Calvary Baptist lost 78-61 in their recent non-league bout against Covenant Christian (Conroe, TX)

Next up, the Falcons play the Aggieland HomeSchool Panthers (College Station, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 17. Kinkaid will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 84-53 non-league win over New Waverly (New Waverly, TX).
