Georgia High School Football - Cook knocks off Appling County

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Cook Hornets (Adel, GA) and the visiting Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA), observed Cook's football squad thwart Appling County by a tally of 17-0.

The Hornets now possess a 11-2 record. They play next when they travel to Columbia for a non-league contest on Friday, November 24. Cook will play a Eagles squad coming off a 18-13 non-league win over North Cobb Christian (Kennesaw, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-3.
