In Friday's non-league game, the Covenant Christian Cougars (Conroe, TX) football team knocked off the visiting Live Oak Classical Falcons (Waco, TX), by a final score of 67-38.
The Cougars (11-1) will now prepare for their game against First Baptist Christian (Pasadena, TX). The Warriors come into the non-league game with a 12-0 record. In their last game, First Baptist Christian toppled The Christian School at Castle Hills (San Antonio, TX), 46-0, in a non-league game.
The Falcons now hold a 8-4 record.
