In Friday's non-league outing, the Bryce Valley Mustangs (Tropic, UT) basketball squad felled the visiting Monticello Buckaroo (Monticello, UT), by a margin of 43-26.
The Mustangs (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Whitehorse (Montezuma Creek, UT). The Raiders go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Whitehorse was beaten by Panguitch (Panguitch, UT), 54-32, in a non-league outing.
The Buckaroo now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Wayne for a non-league outing on Saturday, November 18. Monticello will encounter a Badgers squad coming off a 54-27 non-league win over Tintic (Eureka, UT). The Badgers record now stands at 1-0.
