Texas High School Basketball - Centennial trounces Weatherford

The Centennial Spartans (Burleson, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Weatherford Kangaroos (Weatherford, TX), 61-40 in Friday's non-league test.
The Spartans (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Burleson (Burleson, TX). The Elks go into the 5A Region I District 8 test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Burleson was trounced by Brewer (Fort Worth, TX), 65-51, in a non-league test.
The Kangaroos now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Martin for a non-league contest on Monday, November 20. Weatherford will battle a Warriors team coming off a 59-54 non-league loss to Byron Nelson (Trophy Club, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 3-2.
