The Groesbeck Goats basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Centerville Tigers to 31 in the Goats non-league victory on Friday.

The Goats now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rio Vista for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 21. Groesbeck will battle a Eagles team coming off a 47-18 non-league loss to Boles (Quinlan, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 1-7.

The Tigers (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mumford (Mumford, TX). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Mumford prevailed over Allen Academy (Bryan, TX), 75-22, in a non-league contest.
