In Friday's non-league outing, the Kaneland Knights (Maple Park, IL) basketball squad edged the host Prairie Ridge Wolves (Crystal Lake, IL), by a count of 32-28.
The Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Central (Burlington, IL). The Rockets go into the non-league outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Central was tipped by Larkin (Elgin, IL), 49-45, in a non-league outing.
The Wolves now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hampshire for a Fox Valley outing on Tuesday, November 28. Prairie Ridge will clash with a Whip-Purs squad coming off a 71-37 non-league loss to Fremd (Palatine, IL). The Whip-Purs record now stands at 1-3.
