The Monmouth United Red Storm basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougars to 20 in the Red Storm non-league triumph on Friday.

The Red Storm now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 18. Monmouth United will battle a Spartans team coming off a 44-36 non-league win over Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 2-1.

The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Farmington (Farmington, IL). The Farmers enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record.
