Texas High School Basketball - Uvalde knocked off by Southside

The Southside Cardinals basketball team scored 36 points and held the host Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) to 28 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cardinals now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cole for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 18. Southside will meet a Cougars team coming off a 48-45 non-league loss to Devine (Devine, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 8-3.
The Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lytle (Lytle, TX). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Lytle ran past John F. Kennedy (San Antonio, TX), 94-18, in a non-league contest.
