Shining Light Baptist Academy Sharks (Monroe, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Abundant Life Christian Academy KNIGHTS (Indian Trail, NC), 21-19 in a league bout.

With the win, Shining Light Baptist Academy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Sharks host Tabernacle Christian (Monroe, NC) to clash with the Ram in a bout on Friday, December 1. The Ram go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Tabernacle Christian lost 31-19 in their recent league bout against Southview Christian (Statesville, NC)

Next up, the KNIGHTS clash with the New Manna Christian Wind (Marion, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Abundant Life Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
