The Union Grove Christian Patriots basketball team scored 41 points and held the host New Manna Christian Wind to 18 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Veritas Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 18. Union Grove Christian will battle a Warriors team coming off a 29-27 league loss to Pinnacle Classical Academy (Shelby, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.

The Wind (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Abundant Life Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC). The KNIGHTS enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Abundant Life Christian Academy was routed by Shining Light Baptist Academy (Monroe, NC), 21-19, in a league contest.
