The Union Academy Cardinals basketball team (Monroe, NC), was toppled 43-27 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC)
The Cavaliers now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rocky River for a non-league battle on Monday, November 20. Cuthbertson will confront a Ravens team coming off a 53-51 non-league win over Weddington (Matthews, NC). The Ravens record now stands at 1-0.
The Cardinals (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Christ the King (Huntersville, NC). The Crusaders come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Christ the King was toppled by Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC), 61-58, in a non-league battle.
