The East Surry Cardinals basketball team (Pilot Mountain, NC), was overwhelmed 60-32 in Friday's non-league battle with the host West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC)

The Wildcats now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Stokes for a non-league battle on Tuesday, November 21. West Stokes will battle a Sauras team coming off a 63-46 non-league win over McMichael (Mayodan, NC). The Sauras record now stands at 1-0.

The Cardinals (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC). The Grizzlies come into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
