Maryland High School Basketball - Shenandoah Valley Academy routed by Takoma Academy

Takoma Academy Tigers (Takoma Park, MD) boosters left the game satisfied Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Shenandoah Valley Academy Stars (New Market, VA), 51-15 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Takoma Academy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Tigers travel to Model Secondary School for the Deaf (Washington, DC) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Wednesday, November 20. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 0-0.

The Stars now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blue Ridge Christian for a non-league match on Tuesday, November 19. Shenandoah Valley Academy will face a Bears squad coming off a 55-19 non-league loss to Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy (Moneta, VA). The Bears record now stands at 1-1.
