The Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions ice hockey team scored 7 points and held the visiting Centennial Coyotes to 1 in the Mountain Lions non-league victory on Sunday.

The Mountain Lions now own a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Horizon for a non-league bout on Saturday, November 23. Mountain Ridge will play a Huskies team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ). The Huskies record now stands at 5-8.

With the defeat, Centennial moves to 3-8 on the season. The Coyotes host Flagstaff (Flagstaff, AZ) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Sunday, November 24. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Flagstaff won 4-3 in their recent non-league bout against Basha (Chandler, AZ)
