Florida High School Basketball - Lake Worth Christian crushes FAU High

November 17, 2025: Boynton Beach, FL 33426

The Lake Worth Christian Defenders (Boynton Beach, FL) basketball crushed the visiting FAU High Owls (Boca Raton, FL), 68-30 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Defenders now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Cardinal Newman for a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 20. Lake Worth Christian will encounter a Crusaders team coming off a 77-61 non-league win over Park Vista (Lake Worth, FL). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-0.

In their next game, the Owls encounter the Greenacres Christian Panthers (Greenacres, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 18. FAU High will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.

Coaches summary

First Quarter

Lake Worth Christian came out with a smothering defense and hot three point shooting to open up a large lead early in the 1st period.

Second Quarter

FAU High played a much stronger quarter and the defenders cooled off on their outside shooting.

Third Quarter

LWC came out strong in the third, changing up defenses and pushing the ball up the floor for easy baskets.

Fourth Quarter

After opening up a 30 point lead, LWC played their younger players most of the quarter giving them valuable minutes and securing the victory. 10 of the 11 players suited up for the game scored during the contest.
