In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Grainger Grizzlies basketball team scored a close 54-48 triumph over the Unaka Rangers.
The Grizzlies (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Unicoi County (Erwin, TN). The Blue Devils go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Unicoi County was tipped by Cherokee (Rogersville, TN), 76-69, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Rangers confront the Appalachian Christian Team Sports (ACTS) Warriors (Abingdon, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 18. Unaka will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 70-57 non-league loss to Knoxville Ambassadors (Knoxville, TN).
