In Monday's league test, the Chesterton Trojans (Chesterton, IN) basketball team edged the visiting Valparaiso Vikings (Valparaiso, IN), by a tally of 22-19.
The Trojans now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host La Porte for a bout on Wednesday, November 19.
With the loss, Valparaiso falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Vikings host Portage (Portage, IN) to play the Indians in a bout on Tuesday, December 2. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Portage won 31-16 in their recent league bout against Lake Central (St. John, IN)
