Cosby Eagles (Cosby, TN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Unaka Rangers (Elizabethton, TN), 79-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cosby upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Pigeon Forge (Pigeon Forge, TN) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Pigeon Forge won 61-58 in their recent non-league bout against Hancock County (Sneedville, TN)

Next up, the Rangers clash with the Volunteer Falcons (Church Hill, TN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 19. Unaka will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
