East Jackson Eagles (Commerce, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lake Oconee Academy Titans (Greensboro, GA), 57-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Jackson upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Eagles host Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA) to clash with the Indians in a non-league bout on Monday, November 21. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Lumpkin County lost 78-45 in their recent non-league bout against East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA)

Next up, the Titans clash with the Loganville Christian Academy Lions (Loganville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 19. Lake Oconee Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
