Sparkman Senators (Harvest, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host James Clemens Jets (Madison, AL), 59-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sparkman upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Senators travel to Hazel Green (Hazel Green, AL) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Hazel Green lost 66-52 in their recent non-league bout against McAdory (McCalla, AL)

Next up, the Jets clash with the Bay Tornadoes (Panama City, FL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 21. James Clemens will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
