Lamar Vikings (Arlington, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting South Hills Scorpions (Fort Worth, TX), 51-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lamar upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Vikings travel to Wilson (Dallas, TX) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, November 18. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Wilson lost 69-60 in their recent non-league bout against Mansfield (Mansfield, TX)

Next up, the Scorpions clash with the Trimble Tech Bulldogs (Fort Worth, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 19. South Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
