Alabama High School Basketball - Madison County nips St. John Paul II

Madison County Tigers (Gurley, AL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host St. John Paul II Falcons (Huntsville, AL), 44-42 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Madison County upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Columbia (Huntsville, AL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 4-1.
Next up, the Falcons play the Athens Golden Eagles (Athens, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 21. St. John Paul II will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
