The Buchanan Bears football team (Clovis, CA), was beaten 28-20 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Liberty Patriots (Bakersfield, CA)

The Patriots (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against San Joaquin Memorial (Fresno, CA). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 10-2 record. In their last challenge, San Joaquin Memorial achieved victory over Clovis West (Fresno, CA), 30-20, in a non-league challenge.

The Bears now sport a 9-3 record.
