The Newport Greyhounds football squad scored 52 points and restricted the host Quitman Bulldogs to 22 in the Greyhounds non-league victory on Friday.

The Greyhounds now possess a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Charleston for a non-league battle on Friday, November 25. Newport will play a Tigers squad coming off a 42-0 non-league win over Centerpoint (Amity, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 11-1.
