Gorman Panthers (Gorman, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Priddy Pirates (Priddy, TX), 59-16 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gorman upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Cross Plains (Cross Plains, TX) to clash with the Buffaloes in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 19. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Cross Plains won 53-19 in their recent non-league bout against Meridian (Meridian, TX)

Next up, the Pirates clash with the Meridian Yellowjackets (Meridian, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 18. Priddy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 42-23 non-league loss to De Leon (De Leon, TX).
