Community Christian Academy Warriors (Bessemer City, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Christian Family Academy Fire (Hickory, NC), 40-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Community Christian Academy upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Warriors host Nebo Crossing Academy (Nebo, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a bout on Monday, November 28. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Fire play the Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles (Shelby, NC) in a bout, on Tuesday, November 29. Christian Family Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 66-26 league loss to Lake Lure Classical Academy (Lake Lure, NC).
