Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC), 43-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Southern Lee upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cavaliers host Jordan-Matthews (Siler City, NC) to clash with the Jets in a non-league bout on Monday, November 21. The Jets go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Timberwolves clash with the Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 22. Montgomery Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
