Bossier Bearkats (Bossier City, LA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Carroll Bulldogs (Monroe, LA), 56-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Bossier upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Bearkats host Zachary (Zachary, LA) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Monday, November 20. The Broncos come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Zachary won 72-41 in their recent non-league bout against Rayville (Rayville, LA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Southwood Cowboys (Shreveport, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 20. Carroll will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Cowboys come into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 66-64 non-league win over Calvary Baptist Academy (Shreveport, LA).
