Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Griffin Bears (Griffin, GA), 62-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Union Grove upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Blake (Tampa, FL) to play the Yellow Jackets in a non-league bout on Friday, November 24. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Bears play the Jackson Red Devils (Jackson, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Griffin will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 87-58 non-league loss to Spalding (Griffin, GA).
