The Winona Tigers basketball team (Winona, MS), dropped 70-52 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting West Lowndes Panthers (Columbus, MS)
The Panthers now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McAdams for a non-league battle on Tuesday, November 21. West Lowndes will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 73-68 non-league win over Leake County (Walnut Grove, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
The Tigers (0-5) will now prepare for their battle against J.Z. George (North Carrollton, MS). The Jaguars come into the non-league battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, J.Z. George prevailed over Ethel (Ethel, MS), 63-24, in a non-league battle.
