Northwood Falcons (Shreveport, LA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Captain Shreve Gators (Shreveport, LA), 54-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Northwood upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Falcons travel to Bunkie (Bunkie, LA) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, November 20. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Bunkie won 53-37 in their recent non-league bout against Ville Platte (Ville Platte, LA)

Next up, the Gators clash with the Woodlawn-Shreveport Knights (Shreveport, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Captain Shreve will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
