Cole Cougars (San Antonio, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lytle Pirates (Lytle, TX), 48-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cole upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Bishop (Bishop, TX) to play the Badgers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 22. The Badgers come into the bout with a record of 2-3.

Next up, the Pirates play the Jourdanton Indians/Squaws (Jourdanton, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 20. Lytle will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Indians/Squaws come into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 64-54 non-league loss to Hallettsville (Hallettsville, TX).
