The Sun Prairie East Cardinals basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Janesville Parker Vikings to 42 in the Cardinals league triumph on Saturday.

The Cardinals now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Madison West for a Big Eight contest on Tuesday, November 21. Sun Prairie East will meet a Regents team coming off a 72-15 league loss to Janesville Craig (Janesville, WI). The Regents record now stands at 0-2.

The Vikings (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Vel Phillips Memorial (Madison, WI). The Spartans enter the Big Eight contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Vel Phillips Memorial ran past Sun Prairie West (Sun Prairie, WI), 45-42, in a league contest.
