Linton-Stockton Miners (Linton, IN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting North Daviess Cougars (Elnora, IN), 53-25 in a league bout.

With the victory, Linton-Stockton upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Miners travel to South Knox (Vincennes, IN) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 21. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 5-0. South Knox won 77-45 in their recent non-league bout against Evansville Mater Dei (Evansville, IN)

Next up, the Cougars play the Loogootee Lions (Loogootee, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 21. North Daviess will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 45-39 league win over Shoals (Shoals, IN).
