The Winona Tigers basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting West Lowndes Panthers to 38 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host J.Z. George for a non-league contest on Monday, November 20. Winona will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 52-21 non-league loss to Ethel (Ethel, MS). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-4.
The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against McAdams (McAdams, MS). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, McAdams was outscored by Leake County (Walnut Grove, MS), 49-43, in a non-league contest.
