Georgia High School Basketball - Valwood holds off Echols County

The Valwood Valiants basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Echols County Wildcats to 45 in the Valiants non-league triumph on Monday.

The Valiants now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Grace Christian Academy for a non-league game on Tuesday, November 19. Valwood will confront a Cougars team coming off a 59-47 non-league win over Baker County (Newton, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Echols County falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Aucilla Christian (Monticello, FL) to confront the Warriors in a non-league game on Friday, November 22. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 0-0.
