In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Fayette County Tigers basketball squad scored a tight 58-53 victory over the Lamar County Bulldogs.
Next, the Tigers face the Sulligent Blue Devils (Sulligent, AL) in a non-league outing, on Friday, November 21. Fayette County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Blue Devils enter the outing with a 0-1 record after their 65-35 non-league loss to Winfield (Winfield, AL).
The Bulldogs (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Carbon Hill (Carbon Hill, AL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Carbon Hill was nipped by Corner (Warrior, AL), 62-54, in a non-league outing.
