The Franklin School of Innovation Thunderbolts (Asheville, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Shining Rock Classical Academy Falcons (Waynesville, NC), 54-28 in a league match.

With the victory, The Franklin School of Innovation upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Thunderbolts travel to Veritas Christian Academy (Arden, NC) to confront the Warriors in a non-league contest on Friday, November 21. The Warriors go into the contest with a record of 2-0. Veritas Christian Academy won 79-28 in their recent non-league contest against Varsity Opponent (, )

In their next game, the Falcons confront the Nantahala Hawks (Topton, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, November 21. Shining Rock Classical Academy will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Hawks go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 84-82 league loss to Summit Charter (Cashiers, NC).
