Mississippi High School Basketball - Lawrence County toppled by North Pike

November 18, 2025: Summit, MS 39666

North Pike Jaguars (Summit, MS) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their basketball team thwart the visiting Lawrence County Cougars (Monticello, MS), 39-30 in a non-league contest.

The Jaguars (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Loyd Star (Brookhaven, MS). The Hornets go into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Wilkinson County Wildcats (Woodville, MS) in a non-league contest, on Friday, November 21. Lawrence County will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 47-19 non-league loss to Port Gibson (Port Gibson, MS).
