The St. John Bosco Braves (Bellflower, CA) basketball trounced the visiting Mayfair Monsoons (Lakewood, CA), 80-50 in Tuesday's non-league test.
Next, the Braves encounter the Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, November 20. St. John Bosco will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 62-39 non-league win over Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA).
The Monsoons now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huntington Park for a non-league battle on Tuesday, November 25. Mayfair will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 38-33 non-league loss to St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-3.
