West Bolivar Eagles (Rosedale, MS) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Humphreys County Cowboys (Belzoni, MS), 55-51 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, West Bolivar upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host St. Joseph (Greenville, MS) to play the Fighting Irish in a non-league bout on Monday, November 21. The Fighting Irish come into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Cowboys play the Leland Cubs (Leland, MS) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 30. Humphreys County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Cubs come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 32-28 non-league loss to West Bolivar (Rosedale, MS).
